Stringy Leafage

FINALLY! I finally got me some turtles. I have been looking for so long. Sure, I could have found some online. I wanted the challenge of finding them locally. A new up and coming local grower, Courtney, owner of the thegreenhousegaltlh (follow her IG for good things coming soon!), graced me with a pot of string of turtles. She started them from seeds, not cuttings, so that makes it even more neat!

Just look at them! So healthy and turtle-y!! Since they were started from seeds, and I picked this pot up a little early, I will keep them in this vessel for another week or two within the greenhouse. This means lots of moisture and humidity. This particular newbie needs to get a little more mature before he gets introduced to his in-house buddies.

The further I get into this hobby, the more I reallllllly love these string plants. If you decided to add to your collection, just be aware that these plants are very succulent like. They like to dry out between waterings, so resist the urge to overwater. Pick a decent sun spot and let them do their thing!
